  1. This one looks like a dead leaf. How incredible that they have built in defenses like that, assuming that it is on purpose.

    • You can just imagine how well they’d blend in on the side of a branch or tree trunk, eh? The Schizura moths usually hold their butt up at a 35-ish degree angle, too, making them look like a bit of peeling bark or something.
